Braidy woke up an hour or so before the other boys every morning, so Poppa would take him out on the Gator, feed the deer, and have several things done before the rest of us woke up! I know Braidy loved that time with Poppa! As the other boys woke up, of course they wanted to swim first thing! We had a few things we wanted to do that day, but we thought we'd go ahead and let them swim that morning. They would have stayed out there all weekend if we would have let them! They were in heaven! Braidy did awesome and didn't wear his floatie at all. He's 100% swimmer! Yay! After swimming we went to lunch and then headed to New Braunfels to go to their children's museum. It was awesome! They had a grocery store, hospital, camping site, farm, bank, ambulance, water play, you name it. The boys loved it and had the best time! That night Braidy and JJ made a birthday cake to go along with dinner and we had a mini birthday celebration for Braidy with and Poppa and JJ! After dinner we took a little family Gator ride as the sun was setting. Beautiful and Peaceful. Loved it!
Sunday was SWIM day! The boys swam and swam and swam. It was beautiful outside. Even mom got to spend a little time by herself in the pool while the boys (and Poppa) rested. Heavenly! We ventured into town that afternoon so Poppa and Braidy could do a little birthday shopping. Braidy ate more watermelon than probably healthy, and he had a belly to show for it! That boy loves him some watermelon.
Monday we went to SeaWorld with Poppa! We have never done a big park like that with the boys but they LOVED it! We saw several shows (Shamu and the dolphins being the favorite), rode some rides (the log ride, roaring rapids, and a few kiddi rides while everything else was closed because of rain). Speaking of rain, it rained on and off all day - it was PERFECT weather! If we had gone the day before I think we would have been miserably hot. We totally lucked out with an overcast/rainy day...and the crowds weren't bad at all either!
