4 Year Old Pictures

Here are a few of Braidy's 4 year old pictures. It's WAY easier taking pictures of someone else's kids than your own....that I've figured out! We still got some sweet ones even though neither one of us were totally in the mood to be out doing this, but he was a great sport! Love this little 4 year old!

Paintin' Party Time!

This year, Braidy decided on a "Painting Party" (with just a little help from mom and dad, he was easily persuaded though, he LOVES to paint!) We had a very small party which really turned out to be great for the place we were at. Almost everyone was out of town, and at first I was a little bummed, but it turned out perfect, although we missed all of the travelers very much!

The kids all got to pick out their own pieces of pottery to paint, and it was so fun watching them all pick things out. Braidy picked out a pig to paint, there were dragons, bowls, a dolphin, a frog and a cup! FUN! The boys slapped on paint in a random and hurried fashion, while the girls took their time and really thought about what they were doing...typical! ha!
After the painting, Braidy opened his gifts and we ate yummy cupcakes with bright green and blue icing. The kids loved having colorful tongues, in fact, I think that was Braidy's favorite part of his party, his tongue turning green! Hey, whatever makes them happy! It was a very fun and calm party, which was just great with me! I've had just the opposite too, wild and crazy, and I'll take calm any day!
We had a fabulous time with our friends, thanks to everyone who came to celebrate sweet Braidy's fourth birthday! He's already asking for another birthday party....good thing they only come 1 time a year!

F-O-U-R

My baby turned FOUR years old on Tuesday! I am a few days late posting, but we've been busy!

On his birthday, we started with birthday donuts at Crockett's house....with candles, of course! The boys played for a while after breakfast!
For lunch, I tried to think of somewhere he would REALLY love, not just our usual places. He LOVES fruit, so I thought we should go to Bless Your Heart, and you would have thought I gave him a million bucks. He was sooo excited about his fruit. He ate a small fruit cup, and then I went back and got him another BIG one, because you can have just about anything you want on your birthday, right? He ate about 1/3 of it, and then spilled it all over the floor, but he still got to enjoy plenty!
For dinner daddy fixed another favorite of Braidy's....shrimp! Fried shrimp to be exact! It was AWESOME and daddy did a wonderful job with dinner. Lulu, the Stone's, and Aunt D and Tabor joined us as well. The boys had a great time playing, drinking out of Aunt D's water bottle, and eating birthday cake! Braidy got lots of fun presents, but his favorite were his Cars 2 Cars....boys and their toys!
It was such a fun day celebrating my boy. He said at the end of the day, that his day was "Awesome"! That is a success in my mind! Happy 4th birthday, Braidy! We love you more than you'll ever know!

Crazy-Fest...or CritterFest!

LuLu treated all her grandboys to a day at Critterfest a couple weeks ago! It was SUPER fun, and SUPER crazy with all the people and kids everywhere, but we fit in nicely! The boys were really excited about all the animals....the rabbits were probably the biggest hit for the little ones,  and John probably loved the snakes most (he held one!) They got to see cats, dogs, alligators, a cow, bunnies, snakes, fish, an elephant, zebras, camels, ponies, and lions and tigers, too! A little slice of heaven for little boys who LOVE them some animals!

Everytime we drive by the "Spectrum" Braidy asks one by one where each animal went. All the zoo animals went back to the zoo, and all the farm animals went to "Uncle Tin's farm". We miss the animals! Thanks Lulu for a wonderful adventure, you're the bestest!
