Last Thursday, Braidy's class had a field trip to KCBD! I was so glad I got to go, it was very interesting to see everything that goes into having a newscast! The kids got to ask questions, and even watched Steve Devine (the weatherman) do a short weather segment. They all had to put their hand over their mouths so they would be quiet while he was on the air. Thankfully they all were quiet! They got to see the set of the news, they learned about the "Green Screen" and even got to go in front of it. Christian (the guy leading our field trip) but a green towel in front of them as they were on TV and they disappeared! They thought that was so cool. Braidy loved being on "TV", and he just smiled from ear to ear the whole time. Pretty neat experience!
