Easter: better late than never!

Easter weekend was full and fun. Nena and Pops came to visit us to celebrate Easter and John's 5th Birthday, too! They even got to watch one of John's baseball games, which was definitely a highlight for all parties involved!!! Friday, Nena and Pops took the boys to Chuck-E-Cheeze (or "ChuckCheese" as Braidy lovingly refers to it as!). What would a trip to Lubbock without Chuck-E-Cheeze be? Saturday Pops was conned into helping Ryan with a project in the backyard, so we were in and outside all day. That night was John's Birthday Party!!! He had his party at Ready, Set, GO! and it was such a fun place! The boys got to stay up until 11pm that night to help Pops and Nena dye Easter eggs, and boy, did they have fun!!! Since they did stay up so late, just mommy and daddy went to church that morning, I have a feeling if we would have woken them up for the 8:30 service, it wouldn't have been pretty. When Ryan got home, Nena and Pops went to Mass, so it all worked out. The Easter bunny came to visit after mommy got home from church that afternoon. He was so good to the boys. He hid candy eggs outside and MONEY eggs inside! He left a basket of goodies in the living room and a pile of goodies on the kitchen table. They were spoiled rotten!!! We finished the weekend with a trip to the park to fly kites and a yummy dinner at Ohana! We had a wonderful weekend!! Here are some pictures of our fun!
