Rangers: City Tourney

The past couple of weeks has been filled with baseball! John's Western team (RANGERS) have been playing in the city tournament....and they did awesome! They were the 5th (last) seed from the Western division, so expectations weren't super high, but we were thrilled they made the tournament. Well, this team kicked it into high gear and did SO good. They made it to the 3 final teams left in the tournament. They lost last night in a VERY close one, to a team who had beaten them 3 other times. We had them down going into the last inning, they got last bat and caught up and scored the winning run. It was a great game and they all did awesome. The guys who always got good hits got great hits, and the ones that didn't usually get hits, got good hits! They all really improved and have nothing to be down about, and everything to be proud of!  John played first the whole season and a little SS in the last game. He did awesome. I actually lost count of his home runs. I hope POPS is saving his dollars!!!
